Paragraph about O&A with Chuck Rhodes....

On April 1, 2008, Chuck Rhodes celebrated his 35th anniversary with WHTM-TV. The job he took with abc27 (then WTPA-TV) in 1973 was his first in broadcasting. Since then, Chuck has been a favorite of viewers around the region, bringing warmth and humor to his weeknight forecasts at 5pm, 6pm and 11pm.

A native of Mifflin County, Chuck graduated with a B.A. in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Penn State University. When asked what he considered the most memorable events of his career, Chuck was quick to recall some vintage years: The Blizzards of ’96, ’93 and ’78.

When not in the Forecast Center, Chuck enjoys jazz and playing the drums. He is also involved with United Cerebral Palsy, Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, Mifflin and Perry County Literacy Programs, and the Leukemia Society.
